Extremely rare Soft Multi-Blue stripes, Pottery Barn DARIEN design. Softer stonewashed earthy and muted tones of blues combined with other natural colors. Has definite East or West Coast Nautical Coastal Seaside Cottage vibes or chic Bed n Breakfast.
Duvet is woven of 100% yarn-dyed thread that results in a textured "slub" look, that is casual and comfortable. Unlike more recent Pottery Barn striped patterns, this one has same HIGH quality pattern with stripes on BOTH sides with the same high quality textured "slub" linen/cotton finish. So it can easily be reversed from one side to the other. Any variations in surface color of this duvet are original to manufacture.
This yarn dyed process is more expensive to manufacture than a solid side which is what new modern duvets are made of: stripes on one side and solid on the other. So this vintage duvet is more expensive to manfacture and of higher quality than recent stripe pattern duvets by Pottery Barn which have a one-sided design.
High-end classy and classic design yet casual laid back style that's inviting. Several hues of blues with sand and off white with lots of texture and a weathered look and feel - soft not stiff. Hidden button closure with inner ties keep insert in place. Machine washable.
The Pottery Barn Darien Stripe is featured on Pinterest and is no longer made and this may be your last chance to own this highly desirable design that brightens and uplifts a room. Casual and elegant look, great for staying at home over long periods of time. Made of linen/cotton blend - iron when you want that crisp look otherwise casual and natural look of linen. Either way the texture is highly tactile, sumptuous and inviting.

Shades of stonewashed blues, khaki, tan, ivory-cream, green-gray. Coastal Stripes Blues Khaki Ivory Natural Linen/Cotton-Earthen tones - very coastal. Very elegant yet earthy and casual; reminds me of Sausalito or Sonoma California B & B.
The duvet has varying size of stripes and shades of blues ivory/cream, grays and a tan with a hint of green. Subtle natural washed out colors are original to manufacture. Duvet and shams are made with the highest craftsmanship and care. Noted that duvet has some white strings inside corners - it appears these might help hold the duvet in place.
Duvet has an 8-Button envelope closure. The shams also have an envelope closure.
New without tags but in excellent unused condition. This item is new and is shown laying on top of a queen size bed to demonstrate how it may look on your bed. It does not include original packaging but Pottery Barn labels are clearly attached as shown in photos.
