KEEPER FOR SMALL BLW, Y & T, RHC NIGHT LATCH RIM LOCKS - REPRODUCTION - 2 1/2" (33119)
Nice cast iron keeper that fits certain small Yale & Towne, Reading Hardware and the Branford Lock Co night latch rim locks. It appears that BLW may have originated the design and, when Y & T purchased BLW in 1893, they continued to use the exact design, simply changing the logo (See pictures)
Measures 2 1/2" across the opening. May also fit other smaller night latch rim locks but both the Branford and the RHC night latches are most often found with the keepers, so we had some made to aid in the full restoration of a complete lock set. The lock bodies shown in the pictures are not part of the offering but are pictured only for reference in helping to identify the locks the keeper will fit.
