Vintage 1996 DR DRE "FIRST ROUND KNOCK OUT" ORIGINAL FOUR COLOR SEPARATION ART
ABOUT THE ART:
-One-of-a-kind. Original.
-These were given to me by a friend who was one of the founding investors of Triple XXX Records and guaranteed authentic.
-From the vaults of Triple XXX records comes the original four color separation art that was created and used for the 1996 Dr. Dre produced compilation release "First Round Knock Out" CD inside and outside panels and inserts.
-Each strip of film contains four layers of color separations (cyan, magenta, yellow, black) that are used together to produced the CD art work.
-Each of the two pieces compile all outisde and inside art, photos, and production and liner notes of the release.
-Both strips have four layers (one color each).
-Each strip is approximately 18 inches across by 6 inches down.
-The film is clear and what you see is white backing so you can best see the full art and the separations.
-Suitable for framing or creative double sided glass framing for viewing both sides or glass shadowbox with separations are spaced and viewable as a cube.
-The second strip has white production tape across the top and I didn't want to rip or break it so I left it as is.
-The first strip was held by two small pieces of duct tape to the white background which i removed however it did leave a residue on the top piece of the separation but fortunately well to the sides of the perimeter of the art work.
-This residue can be removed professionally by a solvent, but rather than me possibly doing it wrong, I left it as is.
-Once the CD covers and inserts were printed and pressed using these separations, the films were mounted and taped as described and photographed and given to the owners of Triple XXX Records.
-These have been in a dark, climate controlled, odor and smoke free environment for over 23 years until now.
-This is the ONLY ONE OF ITS KIND and is THE ORIGINAL.
-There are minor surface issues.
-No fading or discoloration.
-I mentioned the tape used on the temporary backing.

-The album was released in 1996 on Triple X Records and was mostly produced by Dr. Dre, as well as Cold 187um and Chris "The Glove" Taylor, who produced one song each.
-Artists featured on the album include Dr. DreArtists featured on the album include Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, The D.O.C., Kokane, Michel'le, Rose Royce, Jimmy Z and the World Class Wreckin' Cru.
