One Rosenthal Glass Martini/Cocktail Pitcher - 10-3/8" tall x 3-3/4" diameter, Heavy bottom - I believe it to be part of the Tivoli Pattern $55.99
One Ebay-er contacted me and thought that this was not the "Tivoli" pattern he was collecting. Upon further investigation, a U.S. based website for china and crystal replacements I used as a source for the name, and who has none of these in stock, has two styles named "Tivoli", my style and one with vertical cuts (that the Ebay member was collecting). SO I contacted Rosenthal to clarify. The US branch has no archive records so they had me contact Customer Service at Rosenthal GmbH, the main office in Europe.
Their representative reported "We are so sorry, but as far as we can see at all the old documents we have, we never have had a pattern called “Tivoli”. It seems to us that you own the pattern “Whiskybecher”, that is out of collection for many years now. Because our archives only reach back about 30 years, we unfortunately cannot tell you this with guarantee. Please excuse that we are not able to help you in this case." So you may be looking at “Whiskybecher” as the pattern. Thank you for looking. |
