Tappe was a small cutlery company founded in Solingen, Germany.  Like many of small cutlery companies, the early history of Tappe is a little unclear.

This knife is produced from the famous city of blade Solingen, Germany.  Solingen is renowned for manufacturing of fine swords, knives, scissors, and razors.

This knife has the blade fully forged from the fine carbon steel designed to take a finer edge and hold it longer providing sharp cutting satisfaction.  The handle is triple riveted over the full tang to good fitting for durability, strength, & balance.
