For sale is a rare, seldom used and fully functional Roland CR-80 Human Rhythm Player beat-box that is fun to use that would definitely satisfy any solo performer or even a group. This machine will surely become a vintage classic amongst the echelon of amazing drum machines ever created in the likes of TR-series line. The specimen featured here is in immaculate condition, all functions respond as expected and the internal battery has just been replaced new ready to be integrated back in circulation of talented musicians or entertainers and immerse themselves into creativity with the Roland CR-80!

Also available, a completely overhauled and  refurbished Roland MC-909 groove box sampler from the ground up ($1300) see images 6-12. All pads including play, record, FF, RW, pause section etc. have been upgraded and IMHO, now more responsive than the original and perhaps will outlast even a new pad replacement indefinitely, courtesy of my years experience in modifying, tweaking, improving some of my favourite amazing gears ever manufactured but not without weaknesses in design. Note however that this pads upgrade may alter the behaviour of the touch-sensitive velocity pressure.

Prior to posting and long inactivity, it recently received hours of labour intensive, meticulous and very involved refurbishing process which included but not limited to: replaced stubborn tact switches with compatible parts, disassembled entire board layer by layer, deoxit all pertinent electronics to assure proper contact, lubed and replenished any moving parts, buffed, detailed clean every crevice every line with some cosmetic retouching done.

All effort invested was well deserved so this formidable amazing piece of 909 legacy machine continues its path into service on the hands of its new future user.

The MC-909 is legendary and bombarded with plethora of features and Cool Factor. Anecdotally speaking perhaps one of the better sounding, but hey, I'm not here to argue.

Item showcased here is from one of many collections of phrase samplers (MC-909, MC-808, MV-8000, MV-8800, MV-9000, RS-7000, SP-202, SP-808EX version just to name a few) in my studio.

This model has seized in production and bound to be a classic no doubt! and only getting harder and harder to acquire. Grab it while it lasts!

There may have some traces of inconspicuous wear due to age but you'll be hard pressed to find another specimen in this state of condition.

Shipping & handling vary on location.
