Offered this Antique Flow Blue J.G. Meakin Hanley "Chatham" Compote Pedestal Bowl measuring approximately 8 1/2"W x 4 1/2"T. This lovely J.G. Meakin flow blue Chatham semi-porcelain compote has a floral center medallion, with thistle and dangling bell shape flowers on the sides, and a scalloped rim and foot. It is in good condition with no cracks, crazing, or repairs, but has a small chip on the rim, and some glaze blisters as shown. This lovely J.G. Meakin flow blue compote is a rare piece, and would make an excellent addition to an existing Chatham, or flow blue collection.
