Type Ballpoint pen
Product Name Sonnet - Mark 1
Manufacturer and Year Parker, France, most of these seem to have date codes from 1996 or 1997.
Length 5-5/16"
Filling System Takes Parker ballpoint refills. A good working refill is installed.
Color This gold and brown mottled finish was called "Chinese Laque Ambre." The trim is 23k gold plated. We've heard that this is one of the hardest to find finishes, and was only available in the first series of Sonnets. The design contains some Chinese characters which are written on the cap.
.Condition New old stock, never used condition. We inspected the pens closely and could find no scratches or chips in the lovely lacquer finish. There are a few dull areas on the wide cap band, picked up from years in storage, which we have polished. Each pen is hand painted and unique, so your pen will look a little different from the close-ups below.

Shipping
Shipping to all other addresses is based on weight. You will have a choice of first class, priority or express mail.
A note regarding international shipping: We ship via first class and insure most shipments over $30 when possible. First Class usually takes 8-10 business days, but it can be subject to unpredictable delays. If you can't wait a month for delivery -- it sometimes takes that long, though not often -- please don't order.
We will only ship via registered or Express Mail to the following countries: INDIA, MEXICO. Please contact us for estimated shipping costs, as these services carry extra charges.
Please note: Import duties, taxes, and charges are NOT INCLUDED in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer's responsibility. Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding/buying. These charges are normally collected by the delivering freight (shipping) company or when you pick the item up - do not confuse them for additional shipping charges. UK customers are usually charged a 12 pound admin fee by the Royal Mail regardless of the value -- horrible, we know, and we think you should complain to your MP!
