Our Shield Autocare universal headrest Mesh dog barrier is straight forward and easy to install by simply hooking the guard onto the front or rear headrests the guard comes with 3 different sized fittings which are designed to suit multiple vehicles whilst additional length bolts can be purchased separately if the ones supplied are too short. Equipped with adjustable Side wings which easily adjust from 106cm-145cm making this product widely universal to fit most cars.

It is robust and mounts securely making it quick and easy to assemble and remove with all parts supplied with no tools required.

This product is specifically designed for safety when driving and takes into account the safety of both the driver and your pet, suitable for small, medium and large sized dogs/pets and designed to help keep your dog calm, safe and secure in the boot area, whilst preventing any unwanted distraction to the driver. Designed with square holes to let your pet see easily and freely.

Made of sturdy metal, this does not break easily whilst all edges are a smooth finish providing maximum protection for your pet.

This product can also be used to ensure potentially dangerous items are safely contained in the event of a collision or sudden braking so are great for tradesmen or even moving house.

Installation guide.  

1 - Line up the wire frame to the rear of the head rests to ensure a safe and effective fit.
2 - Attach the poles supplied to the wire frame whilst making sure they line up with the head rest.
3- Once the poles are connected place one of the side wings against the frame and again line up again with the rear headrests ensuring all pre drilled holes are towards the bottom.
4 - Using the connecting clips, attach the side wing into position.
5 - Follow the same procedure for the second wing ensuring the wider part of the barrier is facing the bottom.
6 - Using the screws that are supplied, thread into the screw caps on the product and then thread into the fixing poles. Two lengths of screw are provided to allow for a perfect fit ( please note that bigger screws can be purchased separately)
8 - Assemble the dog guard in the correct position and attach the hook firmly to the head rest poles.
9 - Tighten securely by twisting the screw caps to a secure fit. Please note over tightening may damage the headrest.
10 - Adjust the side wings if necessary to fill any remaining space making it tailored to your vehicle.

Whilst this is universal and fits most cars, it will unfortunately not fit every car. Please use the size guide before ordering.
