This Ladybird Lodge features a hinged lid, that allows easy access to the central chamber, which means it is ideal for releasing our live ladybirds into i.e. tip ladybirds in when the are available. It then has multiple places where the ladybirds can emerge from including holes in the front decorated with a ladybird motif. The Ladybird Lodge will provide a safe haven for ladybirds to feed, breed and over-winter in. It is designed to be wall-mounted, so position on a wall, tree or fence amongst climbing plants, which are affected by aphids. Featuring a central chamber that can be filled with straw, bark or dried leaves, drilled holes and hollow canes, it will provide shelter for ladybirds PLUS lacewings, bees and even butterflies may use it as well.

The Live Ladybird Lodge is made from FSC timber. The hinged lid means you can easily add your own ladybirds i.e. order adult ladybirds, lift the lid, tip them in & then watch as they emerge from the holes, etc to spread out to tackle the pest problems in your garden. The Ladybird Lodge also has drilled holes in the base & sides PLUS hollow canes in the base for solitary bees such as Mason Bees or Leafcutter bees.
