Cannondale sold millions of similar bags. It's the same size and shape as the most popular seat bag but with different straps. This has the 1 year only Bugger logo. By 1974, they change to Cannondale on the tags.  I personally assembled thousands of these when I worked at a bike shop in the 1970s.  They came shipped with the liner not installed so they could fit many more in a crate. We had to roll up the liner and insert the ends in the interior slots so the liner would stay put and add the reflector.  It sure beat assembling the Bugger trailers that had all the parts just thrown in the box. Only the wheels were assembled.  Cannondale was in business for more than 10 years before they started making bicycles. They started with back packs for hikers and campers and expanded in to bicycle bags and accessories.
