For your consideration, a stunning Faure Limoges enamel over copper charger by listed French designer Gilbert Poillerat, circa 1970s France.  Gilbert Poillerat (1902-1988) is a French designer who is well known for his fine metal furniture and home decor items (mirrors, sconces, candlesticks, etc). This charger is rare and likely had limited production. I have only been able to find one other example of the Rose de Noel charger and another Christmas charger designed by Poillerat in 1972, also limited edition. This charger is in excellent vintage condition for age with only two cracks to the glassy enamel.  The gold finish to the metal frame around the charger is worn in several places and looks like tarnished brass.  The metallic stars on the charger appear to be inlaid sterling silver as they are tarnished and do leave a dark residue when you rub them with a finger. The charger has a velvet base and the underside has a very dark purple enamel which looks black. This is an estate item and the price tag from when the prior owner purchased it is still attached.

Measures a substantial 10.75 inches in diameter.
