Heinrich Back (1851-1924) created this beautiful solid walnut sideboard in Vienna, Austria.
In two sections, the piece stands 75" tall x 37" wide, 21" deep lower section and 12" deep 
upper section.
Beveled mirror back, black and white marble counter surface, beveled glass doors on upper section 
with brass rods for fabric/curtains behind the glass doors. 3-1/2" deep drawer for linens. 
Two shelves in upper section and two shelves in lower section. Shelves, back, doors, drawer 
and even bottom of drawer, entire piece, made of solid walnut. Decorative marquetry on doors.
Six decorative walnut posts help support upper section. Handsome brass handles and locks 
with two keys stamped with Heinrich Back's name and the city of Wien (Vienna). Feet and 
backs of glass doors protected with brass plating.
Over one hundred years old the exceptional and knowledgeable design and construction have
kept this piece in amazingly beautiful and sturdy condition.
