Original Elaine Stranahan Portrait Painting. From an Estate Auction here in Colorado. Now known as Elaine Badgley Arnoux, from 1946-1952, she was married to Robert Stranahan. I am not an expert, I am guessing it is Water Color on a textured cardboard surface. The painting itself is 12" x 10". Originally framed in San Luis Obispo, California, where she where she was co-founder of the local Art Association, now the Museum of Art, It is not properly mounted in the frame. The piece has some staining on the cheek of the subject and near the signature. (see photos) Thank you!
