Sixth edition (1970) of "Gordon the Big Engine", the 8th book in the Railway Series - the Thomas the Tank Engine books - written by Rev W Awdry. Illustrations by C Reginald Dalby.

Some pages have slight marks and creases as shown in the photos. There is some small damage to page 44 and the illustration on page 45 where the pages appear to have stuck together in one spot.

Blue cloth boards with blue title and vignette representing Gordon, as seems to be the most common variation for 1970 editions of Gordon the Big Engine.
