Coppell TV Repair LLC offers you the main board for LG 42LV5500-UA as shown on the picture.

The board was serviced and tested by Coppell TV Repair LLC.

As with most other LG main boards there are a number of valid part numbers the company uses including, but not limited to , EBT61456509 and .

You may have or receive any of those or other numbers, but by any means the board we will send you will have been serviced and tested and we can provide video proof of it working in our testing stand if necessary.

Upon receiving and installing the board to satisfactory results you can return your old dud subject to the terms and conditions specified in a section below.

Common failure symptoms

While there can clearly be a large number of failures and failure symptoms that probably can't all be listed, here are the most common ones we've seen this board cause that we've seen:

  • TV responds to power on command, but only to turn back off, i.e. it never starts (front LED goes white and then back off); back light never comes up;

  • TV appears to start and back light comes up (can be seen as a glow on the screen), but no images or colors show up; TV can be turned off and possibly may even produce sound (sometimes), but still nothing on the screen;

  • TV comes up and has image, but the image or audio is garbled;

  • Loss of HDMI ports or loss of audio.

We may also offer components for this board such as the EEPROM, main processor, RAM, HDMI etc. for DIY repairs. Search our web store and contact us if you do not find it there.
 
WARRANTY AND RETURNS

We offer 30 days limited warranty covering parts and labor. If board needs to be returned customer is responsible for return S&H costs and CTVR is responsible for repairing, replacing or refunding the customer, subject to availability and preference.

Return of functional boards is subject to return and restocking fee. We prove board's functionality with a video, so if you intend to return the board make sure to sign it with a Sharpe so you can be sure it will be that same board we show you functional (if it is, of course).

Total withholding amount for returned functional boards is determined by adding the forward shipping cost, the eBay transaction fees and a $10 fee for testing the board prior to slating it for sale again.

Warranty is voided for boards with traces of tampering, damages caused by poor packaging or other physical damages that are not covered by the customer's carrier.
 
CONDITIONS BUYING BACK YOUR OLD DUD
Upon receiving and installing the purchased module you can return your old one to receive the advertised credit.

The credit will normally be issued as a partial refund towards your original payment; when this is impossible or inapplicable we may use other forms of payment such as PayPal or check.

It takes 2-6 business days after the delivery of your board to us for it to be processed and the refund issued.

In order to receive the full advertised credit the returned dud must meet all of the following conditions:

1) It must be sent back within 14 calendar days of the delivery of the module you purchased from us, both per carriers' records. Make sure you keep your tracking number, you may need it!

2) The board must arrive in good physical condition allowing subsequent electrical repair and reuse of the board. Sometimes when components fail and burn they also leave burn marks on the board. Most of the time such traces are not affecting the ability to restore the board's functionality, but in some extreme cases this may be a problem.

3) The board must not have missing or replaced components or have otherwise been tampered with.

There may be exceptions for any of the listed conditions, but we reserve the right to be the judge on whether your board qualifies for an exception.

If a board arrives that does not meet the above conditions and we do not consider it appropriate for extension we will contact you and offer you to get it back for the sole cost of the return shipping and/or offer you a trade-in price we consider reflecting its condition.

The returned module must arrive in good physical condition and without previous traces of repairs or tampering in order to qualify for the full advertised credit.

Modules that do not meed those criteria will be subjected to partial refund or no refund at all (depending on their condition and trade-in value).
