This ANTIQUE TOPOGRAPHIC map of GREENE, NY, was prepared by H. M. Wilson, Geographer in Charge. Topography by J. H. Jennings and Gilbert Young.  This map was surveyed in 1902, in cooperation with the State of New York; edition of November 1904; reprinted in 1942.  In addition to Greene, this map includes the Village of Whitney Point, parts of the Chenango, Tioughnioga, and Otselic Rivers.  Also Cinncinatus Lake, Long Pond, and Round Pond, as well as Genegantslet Creek and the Villages of Triangle, Smithville Flats, Willett, Upper Lisle, and Georgetown.  

The map measures approximately 16.5 x 20 inches, including the border area.  The image size is approximately 13 x 17.5 inches.  On the reverse side is a description titled "The Topographic Maps of the United States."  The map identifies contours, stream locations, roads, railroads, villages, town and county borders, lakes, ponds, steamboat routes, bridges, wetlands, and elevations. 

The map is in very good condition for its age.  It has been stored flat and has some yellowing around the edges.  This map features a unique part of New York State history and will look great framed.
