THE PROBLEM WE SOLVE:
Every time you insert your key in the ELECTRONIC IGNITION SWITCH it must be recognized by the EIS and ESL. Further the EIS must unlock the steering column and after that ignition could be switched on and the car started.
· Key doesn't turn in the Mercedes Electronic Ignition Switch (EIS).
· Steering lock is OFF with no key in ignition.
· Battery has become low and the lock has not come back on.
· Steering is locked on with key in ignition
You would need to remove the steering lock and the Electronic Ignition Switch (EIS) plus one key and sent it to us for repair.
