High Quality Vintage Lead Crystal Glass Jug 1930s.

The photos really do not do this piece justice. This is a jug of balanced design, with an elegant waisted shape, the top with slice cut panels, the waist with a notched band, below which is a band of diamond cutting and finally a band with four pendant swags. The rim and handle both have cut decoration, and the pontil on the base is finished with a 32 point star. It stands 7.5 inches high and weighs 1.1kg. There is no maker's mark that I can see, and, as the cutting is traditional, rather than acid-polishing, I would estimate this to be from the thirties.

Condition: I can find just one tiny fleabite on the base, otherwise it's in fine condition.
