The small box was tested with sterling silver acid as there are no hallmarks. Confirmed as silver. 

The ceramic used on one surface of the box ,I was told that is hundreeds years old handpainted porcelain from an old dinasty in China.I cannot guarantee the age though.

Very pretty and rare little box offered in good vintage condition
