This is a wonderful salvaged antique Italian renaissance style marble architectural fragment. It has been attributed to the 17th or 18th century. This piece also clearly shows where the Beaux Arts movement of the 19th/early 20th century found inspiration. The color is also wonderful. See photos for close up details.
