Valve Block solenoid fault Diagnosis

Common fault with Land Rover air suspension valve solenoids is they stop distributing the air pressure to the individual air struts controlled by the air suspension system or you may get a corner of the vehicle sinking down overnight ,their are usually 3 solenoid valve blocks ! 2 airbag/strut solenoids located under the vehicle usually behind the front and back wheel arches and the third valve pressure switch solenoid located under the rear passenger floor close to the air suspension air compressor on Discovery 3 4 & RR Sport 2004-2011/12 !    L322  Range Rover models are located behind the drivers side front and back wheel arches with the 3rd valve solenoid pressure switch being located next to the compressor in the boot spare wheel well. A common reason why these solenoids fail is usually connected with a failing air suspension air compressor air dryer filtration media breaking down and turning to a sugary like dust which intern enters the corresponding valve blocks causing the Orings within those valve blocks to fail. These valve blocks have to stay sealed all the time including the pressure switch valve block solenoid until they are requested to distribute air ,they also allow the vehicle to lower when instructed by opening all 3 valve solenoids together with the air suspension compressor exhaust valve to allow the air to exit the system thus lowering the vehicle ! any leaks in this circuit can cause a suspension system failure resulting in dashboard messages being illuminated .
