Cauliflower Violetto di Sicilia is a regional variety from Sicily. Excellent taste & looks beautiful. This is a favorite in the seeds from Italy garden.
Purple cauliflower is easier to grow than white and is tasty and more nutritious. It is delicious raw or cooked and freezes well. This variety has a medium sized purple head that turns green when cooked. It is extremely cold hardy and produces many side shoots. Give each plant almost 2 sq. ft. if you want to harvest side shoots after cutting the main head. 85-90 days.

Germination
Soak the seeds for 24 hours before sow
Start seeds indoors 5 to 6 weeks before the last frost date (or outdoor during all your growing season). Take seedlings outdoors when danger of frost is past and night temperatures consistently remain above 55° F/ 13° C.
