Antique 1920's "Walker & Hall" Silver-Plated Three-Piece Serving Dessert Serving Set/Original Box (I.34/P1/LB).
This is a fabulous Three-Piece Serving Set by Walker & Hall, stamped, original box and made in Sheffield.
This is a rare set, seldom see a three-piece serving set, and the pieces are stunning.
This is a dessert serving set which consists of a cake slice (27.5 cm approx), a custard/fruit spoon (24 cm approx) and a fruit/pastry fork (22.5 cm approx).
Each frontside of a piece is etched around its edges and along its handles. The backs are plain, but all stamped.
The box is in fairly good condition, a little ragged around some edges and on the main lid.
The interior is very clean and bears the labelling Walker & Hall, Sheffield in the lid.
The hinges are working, but could do with a little TLC in re-aligning.
I have cleaned all the pieces and lightly polished them as they were extremely dirty when I received them.
The pieces could benefit from further cleaning and polishing, but for the purpose of this sale, they are looking extremely good.
Sold as seen from a smoke and pet free home.
