Our Plum Slate chippings are a natural Welsh slate material with a plum blue colour and are ideal for garden borders and decorative rockeries, ornamental water fountains and fishponds as the depth of colour really comes out when wet (Please see our images). The 20mm size is ideal for foot paths as it beds together well with a more comfortable walking surface in comparison to larger gravels but includes pieces 5–30mm. Once laid the smaller pieces will form a mulch bed with the larger more decorative chippings on view. PLEASE NOTE: Our Plum Slate products are TRUE Welsh Slate materials which may differ in colour to plum slates purchased from other retailers who may source their stone from elsewhere. Currently, our Plum and Blue Slate products may have some similar colour tones due to the quarry seam that is being mined at present.

Deliveries will be made between 8.00am and 6.00pm Monday to Friday.

Orders placed after 1pm will be dispatched the next working day. Please note that deliveries will be made on a tail lift truck not a crane/Hiab offload, therefore you will need an area that is flat and free from grass, gravel and uneven paving to enable our hauliers to deliver to you. Please ensure that someone is available to sign on the delivery date and that there is sufficient space to deliver otherwise this may incur a re-delivery charge of at least £35 per pallet. Please see the video below detailing how we offload our goods.
