Sometimes better to have a filler card rather than an open spot.This series of cards, like many older Topps cards, sometimes bow from age and/or humidity. They flatten out when placed in 9 pocket sheets.
Other sets that did this are Tiny Toons Adventures, The Simpsons, Turtles Movie 1, and several others. Topps stopped having this issue when they switched to 100% white board use from the old brown board backs with white board fronts. The difference in the board front to back caused the issue.
