New Vinyl Sealed. Amor Amarillo is the first solo album of Gustavo Cerati's career, made in 1993 (in full stage of friction with Soda Stereo). The album was a surprise for fans of the band because of the fact that it was something totally different from what they had been doing and because they had gone to live outside the country, thus pausing the band's activity that at that time did not was dissolved. The only official presentation of the album was an acoustic made for FM 100 radio in 1994, as Gustavo considered it an intimate record.
The album highlights has the strong presence of his wife Cecilia AmenĂ¡bar, both in the collaboration and the main inspiration of the songs along with waiting for the arrival of his first son.
