From an old clockmakers workshop clearance...

This set is LION & UNICORN with LOZENGE CHAPTER RING (TWO PART SET)

This is a New Old Stock N.O.S. item.

It was made a few years ago for a restoration project.

This item is just as cast, it consists of TWO PARTS ie.

Chapter ring and inner Cartouche plate.

The chapter ring has lozenge half hour markers and the cartouche is Lion & Unicorn

(you can see feint witness of makers name/etc on cartouche)

I have shown the parts just put together, they would require adjustment/fettling etc.,

it was cast from an original antique dial.

Hence it is a beautiful thing and obviously well made/designed!

It has been cast in WHITE BRONZE metal, please google this if you need to understand it.

It has a very similar look to silver
