Life size Italian white glazed terracotta figure of a Borzoi.

This is a truly magnificent piece, standing 96.5 cm and just oozes glamour.

Elegant, regal and imposing are just some words used to describe this lovely dog.

Dating from around the 1960's he does have some age related wear, with some small patches of glaze loss and what appears to be a small firing fault across the back, around 8 cm in length.

The Borzoi or Russian Wolfhound was bred to be swift and strong enough to pin down the wolves it hunted, and can cruise at 35 - 40 miles per hour!

This is a stunning item, that will be sure to attract lots of attention wherever he goes!
