OOAK Custom Voodoo Queen Doll

Please Meet - Vala

Vala has lived in New Orleans for many years now after visiting the grave of Marie Laveau. She wanted to follow in the great Voodoo Queen's footsteps so she studied and practiced voodoo and has become quite the powerful Voodoo Queen as well. Here she is in full ritual garb.

Vala was once a gently used My Scene Madison doll. She has been given a full facial repaint using traditional voodoo style face paint. Only the highest quality Derwent water color pencils and Pan pastels were used. Her face was sealed with Mr. Super Clear and Liquitex sealers. She wears a handmade hard multi-layered corset with black guaze fabric. Her hair was rooted with some dark brown wool strands and embellished with black flowers and a hand painted skull and horns were attached. There are also feathers in her hair and on her dress. Her arm is wrapped with faux leather cord and has a mouse bone attached. A skull also adorns her dress and she wears a black chain necklace.  All my dolls come with a stand and a certificate of authenticity.

Ooak Custom Elegant Harlequin Doll

This is my version of a more formal Harlequin doll. I wanted to stick to the traditional idea but make it unique as well. Only the highest quality Derwent water color pencils and Pan pastels were used as well as high quality acrylic paints. Her face was sealed with Mr. Super Clear and Liquitex sealers. She wears a partially sculpted outfit, thr skirt and diamonds are made from timy marbles and white glitter and the rest is lace and fancy trim. Ahe wears black rhinestone jewelry and one white shoe and one black shoe. Her hair was curled and pinned up and embellished with white beaded pins.  All my dolls come with a stand and a certificate of authenticity.

Harlequin is an art doll collectible and not a toy. Please handle her with care like you would any precious collectible. Never give my dolls to children. They are not toys and not meant to be played with.
