Sealed end copper rivets are generally used for riveting to a boiler. However, there are other suitable used such as for decorative purposes, and for fixing the mudguards on a Mamod Steam Wagon.
The normal type used on a Mamod boiler are 3.2 x 8.00 mm which we also list on eBay.
When preparing to rivet you will use a 3.3mm drill allowing the rivet to be inserted easily with a tight fit.
Hold the riveter firmly and don't wobble when closing operating the tool. These copper rivets will do a great job every time.
