I do not know the battery situation whether it is a good battery or not but it does charge up and turns on and has a standby charge hold of at least 1 day becauseI charged it to 100% and it sat on for over 24hrs and did not run dead. Will make for a great ipod for a child to use. Or to add to a collection. No charger included.

Back is silver/chrome and has scuffs and scratches but the screen is in great used condition.  No cracks or burnt LCD spots.
