SPELTER & GREEN ONYX COLUMN

KEROSENE OIL LAMP BASE

This base is in excellent condition.

The onyx column is chip crack and damage free with a good even satin finish. If you prefer a higher gloss finish it can be sealed or waxed to achieve the level you require. It is predominantly a medium sage green with contrasting darker green and red/burgundy.

The spelter foot and mount are chip, crack and split free.  

It can be used as is with a font set straight into the fitting at the top of the column or alternatively, if you prefer, a threaded top mount can be added to the column to enable a fount to be screwed down. 

Although the spelter components were originally finished in gold they are now silver. If this is not your preference these can be re-painted, plated or decorated to suit your lamp or décor.

This is a solid well weighted base which due to the dimensions of the foot will take a large fount without risk of it toppling.

Please note that if you request a shipping quote I only charge for actual cost of shipping and will source the least expensive option as it is frequently (within Australia) less expensive to use a courier than Australia Post.  I am happy to combine postage where possible.  

If you are unsure of the accuracy of the displayed shipping cost please contact me BEFORE making payment because if, after payment, you find this component was more than it should have been I will not reimburse the balance.

Items which need extra attention/care (antiques, glass, delicate/fragile etc.) may require double boxing and therefore may cost more than the displayed shipping charges. The handling charge is to cover the cost of packaging etc.   I use recycled packaging as much as possible.

If Ebay's calculations are less then I will look to you for the balance.

LOCAL BUYERS 

Please note that I only use shipping methods which, as a bare minimum, include insurance and tracking . Unfortunately Ebay does not offer an option for Insurance so there may be an extra amount due to cover parcels above $100.00.

Items can be collected from KYNETON 3444.  If you are not in a hurry I may be able to organise collection from SUNBURY 3429 - DIRECT DEPOSIT or CASH ON PICKUP

Please note that for your protection and added security I will only use shipping methods which include insurance, tracking and signature upon delivery. As, unfortunately, Ebay postage calculator options do not offer all of these necessities there is likely to be an extra amount needed to cover these. If this occurs I will look to you for the balance.

The buyer is responsible for all import and customs taxes/duties (if applicable) as these are not included in the shipping costs.
