This is actual Norplex phenolic resin material, in virgin original un-punched, unmodified, pre-assembly condition. This was manufactured in Black River Falls, Wisconsin (or close by) in the 1960s or possibly the late 1950s. This predates Norplex-Micarta and their current Postville, IA headquarters.

Each individual piece is about 1/16" thick. Each is 13-5/8" long and 2-3/4" wide.

please note variations in color, pattern, imperfections; this is normal and was a typical part of the process in making phenolic products.

What will you use these for? If you restore or clone vintage amplifiers and other electrical circuits, for example, this material will give you more authenticity, and the vintage edge over a growing amount of rivals within the builder scene. You could drill and mount turret boards out of this for your hand-wired amp supply market. See pictures for examples of end user work with these boards! If you are interested in a large quantity, please inquire.
