Set of 2 Luxardo Majolica Figural decanters named “ Safari”.

The following description was taken from the 1968 edition of Luxardo Bottles Identification and Price Guide:

one of the most distinctive of the Luxardo figurals - the female ebony head inspired by an African wood carving. This commanding face with many highlights - nose, lips and ey - is perhaps most enhanced by the patterned long headdress. May be used singly or as a pair of bookends with Safari. Stamped on the base "Made in Italy Exclusively for Luxardo."

Set includes male and female figurines, both in great condition. Neither has a cork
