Beautiful 19^th-century French bronze/brass Mantle Clock

This is a fabulous French figural clock with a stunning Brass and Bronze finished Mantle clock. It is ornately decorated with a sculpture of a lady holding a wreath in one hand seated in the garden with other ornaments, the attention to detail and quality is incredible. There are swags of leaves and berries and floral motifs around the dial-up to the base. The movement winds and ticks and it ticks, not tested as the clock repairing shop is closed for some time due to corona crisis. Any local horologists can service these locally.

The original enamel dial is perfect with no chips, cracks or crazing. It has the original key and pendulum; the enamel dial with Roman numerals.

A stunningly beautiful clock in exceptional condition which will give great pleasure for many years to come. The item is just as gorgeous as an item of good sculpture for display.
