The hose tail size indicated is the outside diameter of the tail. You should therefore use with a hose having the same approximate internal diameter.

THREAD SIZING

Imperial thread sizing is NOT straightforward.

Measure the 'approximate' diameter of the thread in millimetres then refer to the sizing guide below to see the corresponding BSP (British Standard Pipe) size in inches.
