Washington Post - Since the newspaper was founded in 1877, and this spectacular rare set was found in an archive of similar artwork produced in the 1880’s. this was probably an early attempt by them to personalize cigars to give to clients, advertisers and politicians.

We have seen cigar labels for the Denver Post and the Hartford Courant newspapers go for big dollars at auction, but this is the first time we’ve seen a set. Discovered in a private collection of rare and one of a kind artworks. Refer to scans for condition. Includes certificate of authenticity. Approximate sizes: 5” x 8”, 4-1/2” x 8”, & 4” x 4”.
