The piece is in excellent condition. The kwan-yin's face is peaceful and serene (the ideal facial expression), and the white porcelain glaze is bright and smooth. The detail on every finger, every child's face is phenomenal! I've never seen such detail in a piece of this type.

This beautiful statue is part of a collector's estate liquidation (see other items for sale from the same estate being liquidated, in the same eBay site; including two large jade "Tree of Life" statues, and matching pair of Song Dynasty funerary urns/vases).
