This bracelet is 6 3/4 inches wearable size (7 1/4 inches overall width) and is absolutely superb and in excellent condition. The center is a lovely carved cameo – done in polished steel (and looking a lot like Jet). Center link is 1 3/4 inches tall and 1 1/4 inches wide. Total weight – 38.9 grams. Without a doubt this was created by Geiss between 1815 and 1850. Very similar in style to the museum pieces noted on page 70 and page 85 from Anne Clifford’s “Cut-Steel and Berlin Iron Jewellery”. It does not get better than this!
