Functions of ND Filter

ND filters reduce the quantity of light that reaches the sensor ¨C or the film ¨C increasing the exposure time. These filters have 3 main practical applications:
- emphasizing the flow of movement
- reducing the depth of field
- avoiding overexposure

Please Kindly Note:

Compatible with Cokin Z-PRO Series, need to work with Z Series holder and adapter ring.
Recommended for: SLR or Full Frame or APS-C D-SLR cameras with wide-angle lens from95mm.
Neutral Density ND2 reduces the light 1 full stop.
Neutral Density ND4 reduces the light 2 full stops.

The new square Filter-Holder is designed to fit both circular and square filter technologies in particular D-SLRs and VIDEO/ BROADCAST cameras, either semi-professional or professional models (among them the new HD format). It is modular, it can be easily dismantled and set-up to be able to accept filters of 1.6mm thickness (which most photographers use), and 4.0mm thickness (often used in the Broadcast segment in popular dimensions such as 100x100mm (4"x4") and 100x150mm (4"x6"). To prevent the risk of vignetting (dark edges around the picture), this upgraded series filter-holder is fully reversible, which means that a filter can fit in the adapter ring's slot and the adapter ring can be fit in the first filter slot. Therefore the filter can be positioned very close to the lens and the edges of the holder are no longer an obstacle in the field of view.

Functions of Ultra-Violet UV Filter

Functions of Zomei Ultrathin Circular Polarizing Filter CPL Filter

Circular Polarizer filters are used to reduce reflections from non-metallic surfaces (windows, water and so on) and increase density within the sky and/or foliage by absorbing reflected light. They also allow to emphasize details such as clouds and makes pictures crisper, with deeper color tones. Their effect cannot be achieved with a computer software.

CIR-PL filters allow you to remove unwanted reflections from non-metallic surfaces such as water, glass etc. They also enable colors to become more saturated and appear clearer with better contrast.

This effect is often used to increase the contrast and saturation in blue skies and white clouds.
