Mazowsze, from its very beginnings, amazes, touches and entertains audiences all over the world. With its dynamic dances, colorful costumes from 40 regions of Poland as well as universal values of its songs the ensemble promotes national and regional culture. The Ensemble's repertoire consists of over 150 songs from various parts of the world too. This is the result of 200 trips to 50 countries in which, according to the plans of Mira Ziminska Sygietynska and Tadeusz Sygietynski (the founders) the ensemble sang at least one foreign song in its original language. Most of the songs were sung by our excellent soloist Stanislaw Jopek. For over a year we have made preparations to record and issue a CD with foreign songs. Jacek Kalinowski - Director - Mazowsze ..
