Commercial Pine is the most widely used by commercial beekeepers, tight knots are allowed except in the joint and
rabbet.
This Medium Super has a 6-5/8" body with
tapered handholds for easy grip.
Precision cut rests for 6 1/8" frames. All parts of this box are pine and fully assembled. All parts that are exposed to weather are painted. Plastic foundation is double coated with wax. Plastic foundation may be black or white depending on stock.
