Tips: We soak the seeds from 12-24 hours, then seed them.

We seed them in a cotton ball in the house, they germinate real fast. Then, I put the whole cotton ball in the soil and voila, they grow beautifully. OR we seed directly in the potting soil in the house and bring it outside when the weather gets warm in spring. We live in Northern Virginia, so the weather does not get warm until the 3rd week of May. Both method will work well. 

This hot pepper can be grown in garden, pot, or container.

The heat is just right for eating fresh, making sauce, stir-fried food, stewed food, salad, soup (pho, bun, hotpot, lau, canh Chua),and more.

This pepper is special for eating when they are still green, nice, firm, and tasty. They produce heavily which means you will have plenty of peppers to eat. You can see how many peppers a plant has in the pictures. It is worth growing this hot pepper!! Excellent flavor !!

You can also freeze or make pickle (ot xanh ngam nuoc mam/ dam= green peppers in fish sauce/ vinegar) and use during winter months or make pickles too (in vinegar)

Grow outdoor during summer And Grow indoor during winter months in the cold weather states.

Grow all year round in the Warm weather states.
