All of the commercial tapes I am offering have been in my personal collection for decades. Many of them I have owned since the day they were released. They have been meticulously cared for during that time. Some have been played only once or twice. Some of them multiple times, but none of them have been "played to death". Every tape has been play tested and unless otherwise noted, plays perfectly. Song titles for each tape should be easily readable in at least one of the photographs. If they are not I will list the songs in the description.

7.5ips 1/2 TRACK COLUMBIA REEL TO REEL TAPE

This is a VERY RARE 1/4", 7.5ips,1/2 track stereo tape commercially released by Columbia Records as catalog number JMB-4. This was only the 4th tape release by Columbia and as you can see from the pictures, it comes in the original EARLY box that had the Columbia eye all over it with only a small picture label pasted on top. The tape is in practically new condition and has been tested and plays great! It has plenty of paper leader at the head and plastic leader at the tail to protect the ends of the tape. The original box insert is in like new condition.  This tape is AN ALL AROUND GEM!
It comes on the 7" reel and the box shown and will be shipped in one of our clear protective re-seal-able bags!

In keeping with best studio practices, all tapes are shipped in the played (tails out) position with as flat a wind as possible. NOT A STICKY-SHED TAPE!
