The PW-B4 for Pocket Wizard N90MACC Nikon MD Pre-Trigger MultiMax cable connects to the camera's motor drive socket to enable your Pocket Wizard radio slave set to trigger the camera's shutter remotely.

This pre-trigger cable is intended to keep the camera constantly "awake". The pretrigger switch can be set on or off to save battery energy. Once set on the "awake" mode, the camera will trigger much faster but will also use up more battery power.
