Offered here is a vintage anatomy print that features amazing details of the muscular system. The original print dates to 1743 & is part of a series of etchings drawn by Jan Waandalaar. The name B.S. Albini, I believe, was the anatomist who prepared the subject. The plate "MUSCULORUM TABULA IX" features the outermost muscles in the human body. The hatch work shading & detail is impressive. There is a classic, old-world quality to the composition of the space and figure. The frame is black painted wood and measures 13 1/8" x 17". It is a charming and interesting piece, great for a study, office, doctor, athlete, etc. I am unsure when this print dates from, my best guess would be 1950-60s. It will be carefully packed and is offered with free shipping (the service used will be sellers discretion), within the contiguous 48 states. Any questions, please send a message. Thanks for looking!
