5, is a continuation
of our automotive locksmith training presented in our Auto 1, Auto 2, Auto 3, and Auto 4 courses.
It is assumed that viewers of this course have already learned the skills
presented in the four earlier courses.
This course will focus on the 10
cut locks which were used by General Motors on the Buick, Cadillac, Chevrolet,
Oldsmobile, and Pontiac. There are still millions of cars in use that
have these locks. Most of these cars do not require a programmer.
Most of them either do not require programming or have on-board programming.
There is also a bonus section on Alpha Tec 6-Cut locks.

6. Explain how to drill the sidebar of a GM 10 cut dash mounted lock and remove the lock.
7. Explain the basic process to remove a door panel and a door lock.
8. Explain the basic process to replace a door lock and door panel.

10. Explain one method to disassemble a door lock without loosing any parts.
