FDC in average condition for age  unfortunately a mash up of 2 M/Ss half of each so an odd item , more interestingly addressed to General Lockart ,CB, CBE who from my research was a British General. The last British commander of the Indian Army post independence, and later involved in the Boy Scout movement . Why he was in NZ at that time i cannot find out as he appears to have died in Tunbridge Wells. No one else really fits the bill and the two orders mentioned were possessed by him. Please look at scans carefully for overall condition

Currently listing many NZ First Day Covers, First Flight Covers, Philatelic Covers and Postal History Items.

Condition will vary and i will try to mention any outstanding faults, all items are priced with condition in mind and what i regard as relative scarcity, if i have only photographed one side of the cover it is either because the reverse is clean and there are no interesting texts or postmarks.
Over the last 30 years i have handled about 20,000 plus NZ covers etc and have a good idea what is commonplace and what is not.
