TIM ROTH
(Tin Star); Review: Pick of the Week: Tin
Star: Sky Atlantic, Wednesday, 2am; Thursday, 9pm/10pm.
“I
thought you were dead,” Mary (Joanne Whalley) tells her long-lost
associate Jack Worth (Tim Roth), hugging him. “So did I,” answers Jack.
After the all-guns-blazing firefights of Tin Star’s past two seasons,
he is right to be surprised he is still alive — although that’s a
situation that is again looking shaky. It is not so much that the past
has caught up with the Worths, more that they are running directly into
its arms in a hail of bullets, leaving behind the gothic Canadiana of
LittleBig Bear to settle old scores in Liverpool... (Short, but interesting, ¾-page review of Tin Star
starring Tim Roth; displays a large image of Roth)
